The story just wasn’t my cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad, I just think the book wasn’t written for me, and that’s totally ok!

I would like to suggest this book for those who are seeking a low angst, instalove, cheesy (in the Hallmark way, not as an insult) contemporary romance. It was delightfully low stress and the dog was my favorite character (the dog usually is my fav character 😂)

Catching Him is the start of something. It's the first book in the How to Catch an Alpha series and I look forward to what I hope is a ton more. This feel good story has an unforgettable meet cute, two more than cute pets, and an Alpha you will be tripping on yourself to snag!

Sexy, sweet, and perfect are the words to describe Tyler. These two are adorable together and made my day! If you need an extra dose of sweet and sexy, look no further!

This book was boring. I don’t think this author is for me. She is just too sappy sweet and traditional for my liking. There are no depth to her stories or her characters. The amount of times these two said I love you made me a little nauseous. He kissed her temple and forehead and nose so many times, and was so gawd dammed condescending I wanted to slap him. Can we have an alpha that doesn’t act like he’s the heroine’s damn father, mansplaining every little thing to her and she wide eyed replies ‘are you even real?

A sweet straightforward romance. The heroine Leah meets her new neighbor Tyler, and sparks fly between them.

There’s not a lot of angst in this story. They meet, they become friends, date, and fall in love.

In fact there’s not a whole lot of plot at all.

But it was sweet and funny and I was entertained so four stars

Recommend if your looking for a low angst contemporary love story.

Holy Guacamole, this audiobook stole my breath (as in I was choking on my laughter at a few parts) and lit my face up.
Laugh out loud moments, suspense, cinnamon bun hero, a cute AF dog... what more could you ask for?
Leah and Tyler were brought to life wonderfully by Carly and Alexander. I would highly recommend this audio for anyone who is looking for a delightful, entertaining book with a side of sass and fun.

As usual, I enjoyed this one. ARR is one of my go to romance authors. I always know that I’ll get an alpha romance and low angst. Two of my favorite things in a romance novel.

I did enjoy Leah and Tyler’s romance. It was sweet and really made me smile. I love that Tyler made sure that Leah got to know him before he made his move. Leah wanted someone that showed her that they were interested and wasn’t playing games. Well, that’s exactly what she got from Tyler. The lack of games and back and forth was really great.

Even though I did love them, I did feel like something was missing. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s something. Maybe I was comparing it to the Until Her/Him series. I don’t know. Also, the conflict here was easily predictable. You can’t win them all though.

Even though I didn’t love it like her other books, I still enjoyed it! If you are a fan of low angst and ARR’s writing then I recommend it! I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

I received an ARC via NetGalley for an honest review.
