I thoroughly enjoyed this, but I think that’s a lot because I really like Ernest Cunningham as the narrator. He came into his own in this book, which to me is a major reason why this one improved on the first. I cared about the characters more this time around and I think the mystery is better too. 

Bear in mind that while this can be a smidge predictable, I think the twists still work to good effect (one at the end got me good) and I only guessed the culprit mere paragraphs from the reveal, with not nearly enough evidence so it hardly counts. But like I said, it keeps you guessing the whole way through, the little things you may guess along the way are part of the reading experience Ernest invites you to have.

Definitely looking forward to more from this author in the future.
