So basically everyone else but Caiden, the main love interest.
The relationship between Caiden and Winter is basically instalust with no actual buildup. First he hates her because of her mother (fair enough), but after a while apparently forgives her because he wants her too much to stay away. We don't even see them interacting at all beyond avoiding having sex, eventually having it, and then regretting having it.
Or him being a possessive a-hole while still insisting he doesn't really want her.
But no worries, he starts developing feelings toward her quite quickly. Or at least that's what his brother tells her. Based on a drunken rant. So romantic!
I have quite high hopes for the second book in terms of actually building up their relationship past just having sex.
Because yes, the story was intriguing enough for me to want to keep reading.

DNF 32% It was interesting but the characters were too immature. Gave high school mean girls/guys vibes. Not for me.
This was a really fast paced, gritty, suspenseful bully romance with quite a few twists and turns to be had. This is the first in a trilogy so you need to prepare accordingly. I really feel hard for one of the side characters (what it do, Zayde) but the main focus of this story was Caiden and his new stepsister Winter. For Caiden it's on sight. He can't stand her, but Winter is intrigued. Because who wouldn't be. But she needs answers. And so do the Four. So an unlikely alliance forms which of course leads to feelings. Good and bad. I think I'm going to enjoy the rest of this series a lot.

Thankfully, I can just dive right in because the next two books are available and I need to binge! I have just found a new author with Becca Steele that I completely adore and need to read ALL her words!

Becca Steele expertly crafted a storyline that leaves you guessing and wanting more! I couldn’t put it down.
This book does end on a cliffhanger but it’s worth the mental pain of waiting for the next book to be released.
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and solve the mystery.

A decent, interesting read with plenty of suspense, twists and turns. It's a page turner. Plus that ending you won't see coming.
I am totally stunned by this book, it was so good! I love love love and want more now! Forbidden romance, a total bully, enemies to lovers with all the sexual tension and angst I love combined in an explosive rollercoaster story. Caiden and Winter's story was perfect, can't wait to see what happens next with Cassius, Zayde, and Weston. Mind blown 5 stars! Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job narrating, Gregory British accent and character portraying was spot on, Kelli's voice really did a great job with Winter and her voice changing for other characters, edition and sound was good, definitely a great audiobook option.

Winter's a kickass FMC, She's Sweet, Smart, Sassy & Goes toe-to-toe when needed. Perfect combo. Not to mention, her dad's an astrophysicist, like omg, I myself love the subject!
Caiden is a 2nd year student in Alstone University, The Bad boy, Part of 'the four' who like Rule the college. Winter's mom had married C's rich dad & is Toxic to Caiden & His Bro Weston, They hate her. The 4 also Suspects that she's doing something illegal. Caiden was assholish & Untrustful to her at Start, but Later we can see that he Feels deeply, so much so that he never truly let's anyone in other than his Boys.
Winter comes to college & Gladly makes friends with her roomie Kinslee (Liked her!). Later, At a Welcome party of sorts Winter see 'the 4' for 1st time (She hadn't met her Stepbrothers before..)
