I actually picked this up again and read a huge chunk of it. Biggest mistake ever. This book is so corny. I did like other books by this author though so this might be a one off.
DNF @7%
I understand there's this whole formula now for the bully trope. But I really wish at least one of them would get rid of the "hate at first sight for absolutely no reason". It's stupid and annoying.

This was the best book I’ve read by Becca Steele yet! There was suspense, angst and of course no shortage of hot men. I cannot wait for the second one!
this book was good but honestly until I hit 70% I didn’t know if I was going to continue this series, I am because i’m a sucker for a cliffhanger.
Caiden & Winter gave me Aiden & Elsa vibes but this whole book reminded me a lot of the Windsor Academy series.
I did feel like Caiden & Winter’s relationship was rushed but also I think the next 2 books are about them so maybe I won’t feel that way after I read them. the only thing I’m certain about is that they gave me whiplash, even in the end 😂.
I am not going to give my full opinion on either Caiden or Winter because I don’t feel like I have one yet since this book is only 290 pages, I felt like we rushed into the story and didn’t dive too deep into them as characters.
here’s things I do have full opinions on:
I will say that I love West & Cass, sweet baby boys 🫶🏼.
I don’t know why but I don’t fully trust Kinslee, i’m hoping i’m wrong but I just have a feeling.
I had a bad feeling about James from the start but I also want to know how he’s connected in the grand scheme of things.
I HATE her mother, I don’t hate Arlo, he’s just an idiot who doesn’t see the snake he married.

The angst you crave.
The characters are amazing I enjoyed getting to know them. They’re well crafted and I connected to them easily. Their chemistry was undeniable and I just loved the angst and banter. The story flowed nicely and kept me on my toes. The story was intriguing and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

I really enjoyed this book
Ofcourse it’s another boy being stupid unable to admit his feelings but I understand his reasons for doing so
Winter (female main character) was badass, she stood up for herself and understood so much about things she had never been around
Her becoming friends with everyone was no surprise and it makes me happy to know that all 4 of the guys would protect her in a heartbeat
I don’t love cliffhangers but im excited to see what book 2 has to offer

This book is so forgettable. I remember Winter being the FMC and Caid? Idk. It was forgettable.
