Bro I fucking hated this booooook. The second i realised they were live in best friends and this was a hurt comfort book I was waving the red flags. Lo and behold, this turns into the weirdest relationship ever where the lines of caretaker to boyfriend get blurred so fast. The guy gets clingy as shit because as she starts to regain her freedom and mobility as she heals, he's unable to contend with the fact that she wont be completely reliant on him anymore. And that's not addressed. What is addressed are his relationship issues due to being the middle man of his parents' divorce but legit nothing else. All the rest is justttttt bullshit.
I used to trust Helena Hunting with at least a couple solid sex scenes. The singular one we got was SO MEDIOCRE.
