Between the baking talk, the super sweet storyline and sugary characters, this book is a damn chocolate chip cookie (in the best way)!
I love Lara Jean and Peter and I'm going to miss them so much! I don't think this series could have been summed up any better!
(Yes, I know Lara Jean is crazy immature and her obsession with how great high school/how its the best time of her life is super naïve.)

"Kitty's always saying how origin stories are important.
At college, when people ask us how we met, how will we answer them? The short story is, we grew up together. But that's more Josh's and my story. High school sweet-hearts? That's Peter and Gen's story. So what's ours then?
I suppose I'll say it all started with a love letter."
Lara Jean and Peter K. are characters that will be with me forever.
As a whole, I really did come to adore the series. In the first book, I was a bit judgmental of Lara Jean's naive and "baby-ish" voice, and I felt it paled a bit in comparison to the Netflix original movie. But it grew on me in the second book, and I think I'd have to say that one was my favorite, though the story line of the original will always be memorable.
This third book in the series was by far the weakest and my least favorite. The tension and angst between Lara Jean and Peter was certainly realistic considering the tumultuous and life-changing period they were entering - what with deciding about colleges and how their future would work out. But it was tough to get through as the reader. It also didn't leave you with the confidence that Peter and Lara Jean would "be together forever." But Peter's contract in the year book at the end was super sweet.
Lara Jean has certainly come a long way as a character, and I still enjoyed her overly domestic side - wedding planning and striving to make the world's best chocolate chip cookie and dressing up. They should put a warning on this book for how much FOOD it will make you want to consume, especially baked goods. But more seriously, she goes through a lot of trials throughout the series, and I'm proud of her for growing up.
The proposal scene was just too precious. Peter K trying to learn how to braid Lara Jean's hair was just. too. precious.
Kitty is so bratty and awesome and sassy. She makes me wish I had a sister. Margo continues to be a bleh character, but she's a good big sister to have.
I'm a little sad we didn't get to hear anything about Lara Jean's trip to Korea. They zoomed to the night she and Peter spend together before she leaves for college the next day. There's not even a brief sentence alluding to it, saying 'oh we had such a great time.' It just seemed really weird and rushed to not have even mentioned it at all.
This book certainly had a nostalgic feel - as high school came to an end and all our beloved characters had to find a path to take towards their future and adulthood. As someone who has been there, done that, and gone through those same feelings, I will hold onto the hope that Lara Jean and Peter find a way to make things work.
