i enjoyed the story over all. i don’t think it needed to be four books but it is what it is.

i’ve complained about the smut being too much in the last book. i finally figured out why. i find it bizarre that they go at it when one of them is injured or is in danger. like guys there are more pressing issues here. it felt like they didn’t care even though i was told they did.

the world building was quite minimal as i assume the other books in this world went through explaining that. the magic was easily mastered which was annoying. i prefer to be walked through a learning journey.

the romance for the first two guys was done the best imo. the third was so so and the fourth was barely there.
jonah turned into a diff person when he became huge. it was my least favourite aspect in this series. i loved how him and olivia supported each other in the beginning. it was so cute and then he was just left behind and the little we saw of him was a weird alpha guy. also with how dark sebastians life was we needed more romance and friendship building with him.

it kind of wrapped up too quickly for me but i did enjoy it for what it was.

Wonderful conclusion to the series!
I’ve loved Olivia’s story and seeing her and her mates grow over the series. I’ve also enjoyed peeks into the lives of the characters from the author’s other series(read them all!). Having different types of shifters is a nice change and the small numerous parts((Trixie the chicken!! And a comment about camps for Demi gods).

This is the conclusion to the series and I did mostly enjoy it. There was some excellent spice and some extremely emotional moments and I could definitely feel the love between Olivia and her four mates. I especially enjoyed the internal banter and how comfortable this lot are with their feelings and this did manage to round the story off giving me closure.

Where it lost points for me was the eventual conclusion it just felt very anti-climatic we have been building up to this moment throughout the series and I felt it was over in a blink and only a small part of this book concentrated on this final showdown. I did find this slightly disappointing though I did appreciate Olivia’s outcome and where she ended up.

I just felt the finale was extremely rushed but as a whole, I’ve enjoyed this series some bits just more than others. It is well written and is also highly imaginative and if you like characters that are in touch with their emotions this one definitely has you covered.

I gave the first three books in this series 5 stars, but this last one rates slightly lower. The reason for this is that the ending felt rushed, and the tempo did not match the previous books at all.

Most of the world-building for this series was done in three of the authors' previous series: Salinity Cove, Arbor Falls and Wolfs of Crescent Valley. Since it was quite some years since I read any of them, I felt a little lost to some of the main characters' backstory and the events leading up to this series. I don't mind an extensive world, but it should be made clearer how the different series connect to each other in the presenting of the Her Creatures series. Or like maybe a recap in the beginning.

With all that said: I loved this series. The characters are interesting and complex, the group dynamic is amazing and the smut is frequently recurring and hot.

5 Stars!

This book was the perfect ending for an amazing series. I love all of the guys and how well they treat Olivia after everything she's gone through.
