DADDY DEATHHHH. I am unwell. The cliff hanger?! Stooopp.

Scarlett St. Clair did it AGAIN with this book. This book is the retelling of a Touch of Malice, but from the POV of Hades, Theseus, and Dionysus. Having all three POV was perfect. It gave the story so much more added detail and depth. Di and Ari give Daddy Death and Sephy a run for their money in the smutty department. Their chemistry and tension were addicting. This book had me at every chapter. From epic love, to brutal fight scenes, you will not want to put it down. Even after a Touch of Malice, reading from the different POVs made it seem like an entirely different story. So, so good. I CANNOT wait for Chaos. ☠️

“Hades and Persephone,” the oracle repeated, as if testing their names on her tongue. “A powerful union—a marriage that will produce a god more powerful than Zeus himself.”

This was not a super great read. I really enjoy this series (let’s be honest, I enjoy the smut) but this was just a “his view” of the last “A Touch” book. The sections with Dionysus was tolerable since there’s a spin-off series, but the antagonist point of view was just awful. There was no depth to why he was depraved so it felt like we were in a rapist’s head just for shock value and it was really icky to read about how he was going to use or break certain women. The book really could’ve done without it.
