I loved Southern Book Club so much that I had to read "the sequel" also set in Mt Pleasant. I felt this book was a bit less enticing and seemed longer than it needed to be. Pupkin was plenty creepy and provided some really spooky scenes but Louise and Mark's relationship seemed to drag out and I couldn't believe that either of them survived everything they went through. Louise definitely has some life altering TBI that is never discussed, lol.

Would have been a great book if it’d had been about 100 pages shorter.
