Meh, i've definitely read better. The artwork was passible but uninspired, the storyline was predictable and boring, i just didn't really care too much about anything that happened.

Good short series. The essays were almost my favorite part. The artwork is really awesome, it ties it all together in a special way.

the cover art is vibrant and bold. the story inside is everything but. characters with no personalities and a barely there plot. not worth reading.

This is a straight-up gory horror movie of a graphic novel, steeped in the classics of horror cinema. It's an entertaining variation on a theme, and the art is at times excellent. However, some of the action sequences are so claustrophobic that it's a little bit hard to follow just what has transpired, and I ended up having to read part of the ending twice.

This was "meh" from beginning to end. I had high hopes when I heard about this one, but the artwork was jumbled and didn't convey any sense of horror. The storyline started out interesting, and fell flat and trope-ridden by the end.

Had Outlast vibes, disappointed it didn't follow through.

I honestly feel like this could have been amazing, but ultimately, I found it to be a pretty big let down. This was primarily due to issues I had with the story. I’ve seen many reviews on here say that the story was cliche, and I completely agree. However, I think it could have avoided this had the story been developed more. The story was so incredibly rushed that I found myself thinking, numerous times, “What the hell?! I want more details!” This resulted in characters making unrealistic decisions, unanswered questions, no depth, and a TOTALLY flat ending. In the end, and I hate to say this, but I’m kinda glad this was my “freebie” during the Barnes & Noble Image Comics Sale (buy 2, get the 3rd free).
