The first of the Gale drawn graphic novels. This one focuses on Dawn, and her troubles with problem children, as well as a divorced father trying to gain access to the said children.
Good humor, real world situations. Good adoption.

Loved it. I was worried when I saw Raina wasn't doing the artwork anymore. Gale's is different in a good way, but still reminds me of Raina's. This graphic novel was true to the original book and had some elements of Hello, Mallory. No Jessi yet, though. These graphic novels take me back to my childhood but I don't feel silly when I read them because they've been updated so well. I can't wait for the next one!
Dawn is an awesome babysitter and I actually just organized my sisters room,just like dawn did in the book. Except she organized a whole house!

Molly and I were so excited to see a new BSC graphic novel come out this year, since it's been a long time since Raina Telgemeier has done the first four. Gale Galligan did the series justice and at the back it says she worked with Raina on "Drama", so I'm glad that someone on par with Raina did Dawn and the Impossible Three.
I really wound up likening this one. It was read the focused on many issues that i have not read before like tough family lives and also just all the girls in general and not just one. I really liked how this book still tackled the issues in girl friendships and also this one focused moe on dawn and Maryann parents dating! It was a fast pace read that I really enjoyed!
Yay! The graphic novel adaptations of the Baby-Sitters Club series continue with a new comic artist, Gale Galligan. She has a very similar style as Telgemeier's (and worked as a production assistant on Telgemeier's DRAMA) and kids will love her adaptations, too. Put this on your radar because kids will want it! (Coming in Sept.)
I gotta say I prefer Gale Galligan's illustrations and dialogue choices! I was very excited to read the switch in authors. This book was so great and I loved how it touched on boundary setting which is so important <3
I enjoyed this, and I received it for free. I grew up reading the Baby-sitters Club stories. Gale Galligan's art gives the book modern, yet interesting graphics.
Mallory normally baby-sits the Barrett family, but the mom is so wrapped up in her busy life. This makes it difficult to communicate and help her children and Mallory. When a child gets injured, Kristy challenges both Mallory and Dawn, by giving Dawn the responsibility for once. Dawn is able to communicate and help the Barett children. Ms. Barett has trouble providing Dawn with the necessary information she needs in order to be a successful baby-sitter. This causes Dawn trouble and misery when Buddy goes missing.
