I really enjoyed the first 4 graphic novels that were done by Raina Telgemeier of this series adaptation. I knew that the baton was passed with this one to Gale Galligan and honestly I wasn't a huge fan. The way she illustrated the characters' emotions was too exaggerated, to the point where you couldn't tell if they were mad or excited. They were just too severe at times and I felt like it really had an impact on the story. I also felt like the story was much more choppy and didn't flow as well. I will still continue to read these as they are nice for a quick trip down memory lane, but I much preferred the Telgemeier adaptations.

Custody battles are no joke, and Dawn gets more than she bargained for when one of her charges goes missing!

A really good story (as always) and it had a lot to say about the guidelines that baby-sitters need to set for themselves.

This was an enjoyable, quick read for me. The characters are still a little bit too bland and perfect for my taste, but that's not a huge issue. I really enjoyed the illustrations in this book. The kidnapping in the middle of the story added a lot of much needed drama. I think the book is misnamed. The children that Dawn has to babysit aren't really all that terrible. Their mom is the problem. She puts Dawn into some really crazy situations. Overall, this was a good addition to the series and I look forward to reading the next book after this.

this is probably my favorite installment. the change in art style is quite abrupt, I know there’s a new artist doing the graphic novel, but it was still quite abrupt for me.

but they still keep the same colors- which allows for more cohesion. although I must say, I like the comical faces of this art style

I also like Dawn as a character. I just like this one more than the rest.

I didn’t even realise that the illustrator had changed, I did think in some panels the girls looked slightly different but not enough where I thought it was someone new. As with the previous books I enjoyed this take on the original and with the newest member getting her own book. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get more of her character personal life to get to know dawn better but liked how she was trying to be a good friend and babysitter
