Approaching the last book in the series, I always have such high expectations and wild theories that it can be pretty scary. However, The Raven King delivered on every single front for me. The characters were beautiful, written consistently across the series we see them grow and flourish, and Stiefvater's clever and funny writing just makes it all even better. I felt that everything I wanted to see happen between characters did, and the series wrapped up just as it should. I wasn't disappointed even a little bit, and I'm definitely going to re-read this at the end of the year.
