I had no idea what to expect when I decided to get Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow on my Libby app. Honestly, had I known it was about video game producers I may have skipped it. But I can say that I am so happy that I read this book.

It was the perfect combination of smart, emotional and uplifting. The characters are flawed but whole, their lives are complicated as are their relationships. The shifting timeline was done flawlessly. It felt like no time was passing at all because I was so wholly immersed in the experience.

I can’t see what the flaws are… I wish there was maybe a bit more change in their characters as time went on. I understand Sam was unchangeable and that Sadie was complicated and dont get me wrong, I love full circle moments, but there was just maybe something slightly lacking that makes it a 4.5 rather than a 5.

Honestly an amazing book and I will recommend it to so many people!

The ending of the book really redeemed it for me. I was close to putting it down a few times because of some of the sexual relationships in the book seemed out of place for the characters and kept coming up in odd places in the book, but I continued anyways. It was highly emotional, which isn’t something I normally read.

I’m in awe of the storytelling in this book. It was nothing I expected and everything I wanted. I started it a while ago and had a hard time getting into it. When I finally picked it back up, I soared through it, finding myself so invested in the narrative stop everything I was doing and just listen. It was a devastating and heartwarming opus on friendship and trauma. So glad I gave Sam and Sadie another chance.

Incredibly rare to find a love story about friendship. Moving. Powerful. Explores the different versions of true love and how we wound each other.

I didn’t like this book although I listened to the whole thing so maybe I liked it more than I thought. The entire book was the two main characters thinking about themselves. The only external things that happened were related to building their business and one act of uniquely American violence. Seriously, get over yourselves.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is a heart-wrenching tale of souls bound by friendship and love throughout trials and tribulations and healing. The main characters are intricately and wonderfully written. When you think it can't get any more tragic, it somehow gets more tragic. I also appreciate its strange metacommentary on video games.
