Wow! As good as everyone said it was. The core friendship was so interesting to see grow as they get older. I can’t wait to talk about this with my friends!!!

This book....I thought it was a solid read, then I saw her speak at the Dallas Museum of Art, spent more time thinking about it and this book was truly wonderful! I LOVED the gaming background because that was a new area for me. It never got too technical but I was still able to buy-in that yes, Sadie and Sam are REAL designers. Speaking of, I thought the characters had depth and were complex and interesting. The reason I only give it 4 stars is that I am a strong plot/strong character kind of reader and the plot of this book wasn't very forceful. Not to say the book didn't move and have purpose; I think the book was a study on relationships and trust and that focus doesn't need a whiz bang plot competing with it. Truly excited for what comes next for her and from her - she is delight!

Surprised myself at how much I loved this book considering I don’t care much about video games. I REALLY loved these characters and their story. I can see myself reading this again when I’m in a sad girl mood and I want to read about friendships and sadness.

Just the perfectly messy, normal kind of life story I love. Delicious writing and interesting & deeply developed characters. A must read.
