From the outset, I liked You Huo and Qin Jiu well enough as characters - both highly competent and so chaotic about breaking/bending the rules - and subsequently, the slow build of their relationship was so exquisite. The author had me yelling over Discord about them. Certain lines just hit so hard. The supporting characters are also such vibrant personalities, really endearing, and the plot wraps up nice and neatly. This is the second infinite flow novel I've read, and it feels quite top-of-class.

It was such a fun read!

All the exams were so well done and a perfect balance between mystery and challenge. Sometimes unlimited flow novels are very hard to read but Global Examination had none of that as the plot wasn’t overly complicated. That was honestly one of my favourite part.

The main characters are THE definition of plot armour but I’ve always liked that so if that’s something you can’t stand this novel is definitely not for you.

I loved the main couple! Their bickering and subtle way of caring for each other made reading the long exams more bearable. The other characters in the story were also interesting and funny.

The only thing I found annoying was that towards the end while the truth was slowly coming out, I expected the main couple to at least take a break from the craziness of the exam to FEEL their emotions. There were so many unpleasant truths that were revealed and I was just expecting them to have a proper conversation about it or to connect emotionally some way. But it just felt like everything happened so fast and they were suddenly a couple. Hence, I couldn’t really feel the love they kept saying they had for each other…it was cute but that was really it😭

Overall, a great novel recommended if you’re looking for a lighthearted but interesting read.
