Unlike Sophie Kinsella's other books, this book is a novel, taking more of a serious turn from her lighthearted Shopaholic books. While still a quick read, this book is more "adult" with a more grown up town and language. Not quite as funny or as lighthearted as her other books, but still an interesting read. A sequel to this novel to detail what happens next with the main character, Lexi Smart, and her life as the ending is quite curt and leaves the reader wanting to know more.
Mediocre sweet story but nothing that really grabbed my attention or set it apart
I loved this book while reading it. I just wanted somethings to be more explained but didn’t get that unfortunately, but it was this book that got me into reading which is why I’m forever thankful for this book and Sophia as a whole. I really love the humor that was shown in this, literally no book written by Mrs Kinsella failed to make me laugh!
Lexi wakes up in hospital and finds she has forgotten the last several years. While this has a fun plot, it isn't my favorite Kinsella book. I picked it up one night at a book store and got hooked on the plot, but really could have lived without the language.

Exactly what you’d expect from a book you find in a beach house. Nothing happens at all yet somehow by the end, everything’s changed. Your questions are answered but somehow actually not and you have your happily ever after but you’re not quite sure how you got there.
Also if I had to read some variant of “I lost my memory omggggg why can’t I remember!?!?!???” I think I’d shoot myself.
But it was cute. A fun, quick, easy read. Perfect beach read!

Really wasn't sure how it was gonna end so that was surprising! Cute beachy read.
Well written, entertaining and engaging, and I enjoyed the amnesia storyline... but I really dislike stories that have cheating spouses as a main plot line. Especially when it's the MC who is cheating and everything turns out all happily ever after for her. Healthy dose of swearing in this book too. So.... not my fave.
What a wild story! I just finished, less than 24 hours after I began the book! I was in disbelief at the beginning and thought there must be a plot twist like maybe she had been tricked somehow. And then being unsure what was going to happen with Jon, the way Lexi kept going back and forth, kept me reading as fast as I could. I think I like how it was wrapped up at the end. Not a deep book, but a very engaging, entertaining story.
