This is her first work, and the end is especially powerful. Her description of the goddesses will be going on my wall to remind me of who I am and who I can be.

I have to admit I came to this kind of high brow be it's not my taste in poetry. As I got deeper into it the affirmations started to resonate with me and by the end it felt like a girl power war cry. I was pleasantly surprised. I'll be reading more of her work in the future.
