A cute book - but Funny Story remains my favourite Emily Henry book. Love a good rom-com, and the characters were fun - but the slow burn is not really my thing. Loved short stylish Poppy, felt that the final miscommunication could be better. SO glad that
Poppy didn’t move back to her small town, would have been pissed if that happened.
Overall, a light quick read.

Worthwhile read that made me feel all the feels!
Alex reminds me so much of my partner, and Poppy reminds me of my younger self. I really enjoyed their sweet friendship, especially the flashbacks.

I don’t normally read these types of books, but id like to read more by this author. I thought each character was thoroughly developed, and some of their more philosophical musings were really interesting and insightful.

The only reason it’s not a full 5-stars is because I found them both so immature that it was frustrating, especially knowing they were in their 30s. Have neither of them ever had a real conversation in their lives?!

Anyway- still great. I liked it a lot.
