Exactly what I expected, which I was really happy with. I wanted to read this before the movie came out, and I’m glad I did. It was light and enjoyable and exactly what I needed right now.

There were a few passages of meaningful introspection that really resonated with me about being seen and known. A few witty and funny moments, and some fun travel experiences, but mostly this book felt like an incredibly long journey. Poppy and Alex needed to get on with it already, and so did the pace of this book. I’m not a huge rom-com fan, so take my review with a grain of salt if you are!
