kell_xavi's review against another edition
4.0
I desire this because I enjoyed the reading experience so well, and because the story went from slow to fast and simple to complex, with little room to breathe. A little more pause, explanation, continuity would have made this a better read on its way to a conclusion.
The Snufflers and the anxieties embedded in their culture were a brilliant development, as was our heroes’ particular responses to them. Edena’s eccentricities in relation to the future-tech of space-faring humans were illuminating. Mœbius works in a non-linear creative fashion, expanding his universe in many directions, picking up on details to hone and enigmas to shape into a new kind of sense.
Thoroughly entertaining, energetic, masterful comic with beautiful artwork and the tremendous scope of a novel.
Moderate: Death, Sexual assault, Violence, and Gaslighting
