In each of these short stories it feels like you are getting a dumbed down version of a real story. Like these are the abstracts in a scientific paper that gives you the gist of the paper.

There were only a few I really liked and wished could have been fleshed out more. The ghost of the garden lounge, the last vampire, god's PDA, chain, present perfect, and reboot. There was potential in these but they just fizzled out.

I finished the book only in hopes of finding something redeemable.
