Ahhh, where is the gothic+sapphic thing I was promised? Where were my witches and the action and the suspense and the slow burn? I am disappointed because this was a bundle of a lot of things except LESBIAN WITCHES HAVING A SLOWBURN. The romance was there just to be there and the action- I have no words for it. Honestly.

I didn't realise I read this before. The story was very slow to start with, and I just skimmed through the book towards the end with no genuine interest in the story.
