These books can really do no wrong in my eyes. I love Paige as a main character, I adore warden, and I love the side characters and what they add to the story. This world just feels so... lived in for lack of a better term.
I like that I'm taking it slow with this series. It's like drinking a really great cup of coffee. Every sip is decadent but you don't want to gulp it to fast or it'll burn your mouth (overwhelm you) and be over to quickly. Slow and steady. That and I'm also mildly terrified to read A Mask Falling.

A slow start but what a finish. I’m uncertain where this series is even going, but I’m glad to be invited along for the ride. Shannon delivers some of the most heart wrenching storylines in the most beautiful way.
