Devney Perry lo hizo de nuevo después de la decepción del último libro porque Jasper Vale es una de mis lecturas favoritas de este año hasta el momento.

This had the potential to be soooo good! But it was not.
He eas obsessed with the feelings of his ex?? Like what? He wouldn't go to dinner with her family because 'he don't do well with family' bitch you're married. She shouldn't have to beg. They had sex pretty much every chapter. I did love the 'my wife' moments. His ex-wife was overly involved and wanted to discuss his sex life-bit weird in my opinion. Eloise was such a pushover. The end conflict was good, it was basically the best but about it. Overall, didn't like the plot but loved the writing it that makes sense

I really enjoyed the book but I’m kind of annoyed that every single book in this series has ended in a surprise pregnancy. Like the first few were cute but 1. Y’all need better sex education and 2. Books can have a happy ending without immediately involving a baby.

Devney Perry will never disappoint me and that’s the truth.
Sure, do a lot of her books follow the same format? Yes. But I’m going to eat it up every single time. I just love the little town she has created and the Eden’s. That’s what this type of romance is, it’s like what modern mass market paperback romance did for our mothers’ generation.
You have a sweet FMC and a gruff, growly MC and you put them together and they’re always going to fall in love and it is going to eat every. single. time.
I do think the big “action” in the last 1/4 of the books can be an odd choice sometimes. Like, the stuff with this Blaze kid was really dark but kind of just glossed over because it no longer mattered to the overall storyline, so that made me a lil weirded out.
