An okay introduction, though made the book sounded more Alan Watts-like than it is supposed to be. The notes doesn't give much helpful intellectual context, and painted more of the translator than the Great Book itself. Might need some other edition for that. Still, okay as an introduction.

I love this beautiful book, even though it says I should distrust pretty words. The additions of stories from other Taoist philosophers and explanatory essays from the translator, Ken Liu, were helpful in understanding this text. Even with these explanations, there's plenty of room left for your own thoughts and curiosity. I will definitely give this one a second listen.
