Was a light fun read with mostly relatable, and funny stories told like hot gist between girlfriends.
International Relations, Cuck Up and Catfished are my favorites.
Sometimes the use of the second person voice was a little distracting and not very appropriate to the story, but otherwise, a good read.

The stories were really relatable to the community where I live. Nice book, also liked that the stories were short.
I don't think I ever rated a short-story collection that hight EVER.
This completely took me out of a reading slump. It was short and sweet. So entertaining, a lot of fun and drama. It felt like a good gossiping night with your girlfriends.
Put me right back on track.

It's explicit. I wish I'd known that going in, it caught me off guard. I read widely and love Nigerian authors, but i didn't engage as much as i usually do. I'm probably the problem.

A very accessible collection of stories, many will feel super relatable even if you are from another country, but still are grounded in Nigerian culture and life.
The stories are cheeky, visceral, realistic - and if you are considering decentering men, will give you a lot of reasons to do so. It's not going for profound in all of these but I think much more reflective of a lot of (complex) reality cis het women - particularly in their 20s and 30s - are navigating.
