I had high hopes for the book but I was really disappointed from the first chapter. I don’t understand the purpose of the book especially the graphic sex scenes that were totally unnecessary. Imagine reading a collection of short stories that you know the end of every single story because they’re all the same.

I’m giving it 2 stars mainly for the creativity with the title (nothing else would be more accurate to describe some Lagos men), secondly, the cover is nice and lastly, you can tell she’s a good writer she just got lost along the way.

I really, really enjoyed reading this book. The cadence made the words float by like I was in a dream, before I knew it, the acknowledgements surprised me. A witty, richly narrated, emotional journey through the dating lives of Lagos women, it is full of promise, drama, and the evil ways of these men.
