Damn.
This book is so funny but still sad and at times hopeful which I liked. The range of stories, ethnicities, and experiences really threw me in for a loop as every story was something new that I could enjoy.
My favourites were definitely: 'The gigolo from Isale-Eko', 'Cuck Up', 'Catfish' (because it was so crazy) 'Beard Gang' and 'International Relations'.
I have to say I really like Damilare's writing style and I definitely can't wait to read more from her in the future.

Not all the stories hit the spot, but the ones that did left a mark. Love the premise which is just that Lagos men are a terrible breed.
My favorites were Cuck-Up, The Annointed Wife, First Times, Beard Gang and I Knew You. Independence Day is an honorable mention because it hit wayyyy to close to home and the subject matter along with the attitude is so common in Nigerian culture.

. Cuck Up - Bad Bitch behaviour. Love to see it
. The anointed wife - This right here... That sex scene... That shit had me both traumatized and falling off the bed in fits of laugher. The lesson I took away from this is basically that the church is a business and money is god
. International Relations - We can't all have Megan Thee Stallion's knees
