The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

This was recommended to me by a teacher, and I must say, it was one of the most beautiful books I've read. The story was enchanting and made me laugh and cry. It's a must read, I recommend it to everyone!

I really liked it. It came full circle in the end which was nice. I like the lesson of coming to peace within yourself before you can live out that peaceful life in heaven. A good and easy read. Definitely gave me some things to reflect on in my own life. There’s a reason for everything.

Easy read, sweet and sad book

I was into this book until it tried to pass off attempted rape as an unfortunate, desperate, drunken slip. He lost his job and was lonely so assault was just ‘impulsive and coarse’? Shut up. Whilst the rest was enjoyable and it’s an easy enough read, a whole book supposedly about life lessons shouldn’t excuse attempted rape under the guise of a sob story. Amazing how a previously solid book can be undone by just one stupid page.
