Such a wonderful, heartfelt story. The character depth is relatable & touching, and once I picked it up I barely put it down again before finishing it!

I rate it 3.8 stars. It was a beautiful book, one that I looked forward to reading every day. It did not have a lasting impact, however, I don't necessarily require that from every book I read. I loved the simplicity of it at times, and the manner in which Albom explores the idea of every human impacting another. It was a book that made me feel warm and cozy but also tugged at my heartstrings at times. I recommend!

Saw this recommended a lot and it did not disappoint. Not a religious person but I enjoyed the idea of heaven portrayed. Each of the lessons Eddie learned were lessons I feel everyone could benefit from and they caused me to take in an inward look at myself and how my life could be impacting people whether I know it or not

This book was good in the same way 'The Time Keeper' (another of his books) was, it offers a unique view of a facet of humanity. In this case, it was the afterlife.

In this book, Albom uses the afterlife as a tool for conciliation and peace. We don't just go off and live in an ideal world, we face our lives and those in it and continue to grow even after death. It made me wonder who are the people that I'll meet in my afterlife. What will still have left to learn after I go? Have I met the people that will/have shaped my life? and most importantly it made me think about what I could offer to other people. I wonder about the choices I've made and how they've affected those in my life or perhaps not in my life.

This book isn't amazingly written, but it does something a lot of other books can't; it makes you reflect on yourself.

Thought provoking with a few twists and turns.

4.5 stars but rounded up. why are all of his books based on real life experiences (kinda) like i cant
