I read this after losing my Dad tragically, and it moved me to tears on more than one occasion. A beautiful read about life and love. I highly recommend Mitch Albom for getting through personal grief without having to read true "Grief Self-Help" books. Gave me some perspective.

This was a quick and enjoyable read, I finished it in one sitting. I would not have picked this up myself, but I am glad I read it. It makes you think about life as a whole and all the people you meet along the way.
All parents damage their children. It cannot be helped. Youth like pristine glass, absorbs the prints of its handlers. Some parents smudge, others crack, a few shatter childhoods completely into jagged little pieces beyond repair.
