This book perfectly captures the obnoxious/cringey/naive way teenagers think, talk, and act. An insight into what it's like being the son of Korean immagrant parents and trying to find your way in the world.

Light to read, lovely book to get into reading again. I like that it's a YA with 400 pages, that's new for me, usually they're about 200!

On the plus side, I think it was a decently realistic depiction of a suburban teen life which didn’t conveniently forget that the kids had school at certain times and it was not difficult to follow and pretty engaging. On the minus side, most of the supporting characters could have used a bit more development to seem like real people and a lot of the plot developments felt rushed
