SCREAMS INTO THE VOID
I love Lucas and Rosie as a couple so much, the way the dates progressed and them attempting to hide everything from Lina was so cute.

10/10 will read again

The American Roommate Experiment is one of the cutest books I’ve read! It’s funny, heartfelt, sexy, and full of the most adorable moments I’ve read in a while.

Elena Armas can do no wrong, and her first foray into writing dual POVs is no exception! Lucas and Rosie both feel full of life, and their families and friends obviously helped to shape them into the people they are. All of their interactions made me giddy, and I couldn’t put this book down for a second! Their friendship was amazing, the growth both of them individually and them as a couple was beautiful, and I want nothing more than to cuddle on the couch with Taco and read this book again and again!

I can’t talk about this book without talking about Lina and Aaron. Lina obviously had to be involved as the best friend and cousin of the two main characters, and oh my gosh I loved it so much! Her energy, and Aaron’s perceptiveness, lended so much humor and lightness to the book. She’s the best friend that Rosie could ask for, and her love of her cousin Lucas was so obvious even from their first interaction.

The good in this book was amazing. The story was immaculate. The characters were even better. 5 stars.

I just adored this book! Lucas Martín is a total babe and swoon worthy. I loved Rosie I could relate to the pressure she put on herself to have everything together all the time. I thought the relationship and dynamic between Rosie and Lucas was so sweet, this book was so heartwarming it felt like a hug! Let me tell you this slow burn was truly a slow simmer (the bangxiety y’all!) until it immediately became boiling hot. I absolutely recommend this book to everyone, run don’t walk!

This book was just adorable. Rosie and Lucas’s relationship is actual goals.
This book fixed the issues I had with The Spanish Live Deception and officially made Elena Armas an automatic read for me!
I loved Rosie’s conflict with trying to write a second book after having her only other book become so popular, like Elena Armas. It made me connect with the character even more than I probably would have otherwise.
I think this book was so also pretty realistic, which I couldn’t say about the first book. Their romance was so believable.
Also, you can never go wrong with dual POV.

Thank you to NetGalley, Atria, and Elena Armas for providing me access to this book.
