Who knew farming could be so entertaining, sweet and romantic? For once the farmers involved were not rich and it was so refreshing! The conflict real: a heroe trying to save his farm and his relationship with his father. A heroine dealing with the insecurities of her high school years, and the pride of the man she had fallen in love. Liked the pace very much and of course I got my happy ending.

I think this was a re-read, but it'd been so long since my first readthrough, I'd forgotten most of the story.
Dell was a little hit or miss for me.

I had a bad day so I took some time off to wallow in bed and read. Despite a few flaws (mainly Dell's insecurities--I understand where it came from but it frustrated me so much!), this was entertaining. It wasn't even sad but I cried a lot because I was hormonal.

This. Was. Adorable.
Farmers should get more romance novels, this was great! Brilliant enemies to lovers in a small town.
A guy who knows how to apologise and fix the stuff up!
Just charming!

Okay contemporary romance set in a rural town. I liked way the relationship between both leads grow and how they both went in with theirs eyes opened but.... the family (both of them) were over the top and kinda turned me off the storyline.

3.5, but I'll round up. This was another SBTB rec, and probably not a sub genre I would have picked on my own. The characters were well written and the plot not overly contrived. The banter was funny and sweet. This is a book for when you want to say "d'aaaaaaaawwww".

Whups! Dove into this, read about 5%, realized it's totally not my thing, and leapt out. It's not badly written. Just fluffy with a 26 year old virgin and a hero who takes off his shirt on 50 degree weather to get housewives to buy from his farm stand. It just feels very very young.
Side note: It seems to me that it's kind of yucky for a man to think a girl is a lot cuter because she now routinely straightens her hair. Something politically incorrect there. Also, it's unlikely a young farm woman has the time to get up and straighten her hair each morning before heading to the outdoor market to set up her stand.
