So much plot to wade through. I just wanted to know how the series ended.
Me ha gustado mucho la verdad, aunque me falta qué pasa después, terminé la última página pensando que todavía había más por leer.

The atmosphere and world-building remain just as immersive and compelling, even after leaving the school setting. I love El experimenting with spell creation.
El also continues to be a love-it-or-hate-it character. Her voice/writing style is distinct, and your enjoyment may depend on how well you connect with her. The romance takes a backseat again, with Orion playing only a minimal role, much like in the second book. ):I didn't really enjoy the break in romance and going into sex with another person because she was missing Orion. Or El suddenly being bi, with no follow-up on how she feels. Or never talking to Orion about it.
It’s a swift read and thankfully, there’s no cliffhanger this time! The story wraps up neatly, tying everything together in a satisfying bow. It's overall a happy ending.Besides the fact that Orion's mom is still alive and evil. She even became the leader. Or the fact that she gets all the hate when his father was also complicit For me, the first book remains the strongest at 4.5 stars, with the second at 4.

Moderate: Violence, Grief, Stalking, War, Classism
Minor: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Body horror, Child abuse, Child death, Emotional abuse, Death of parent, Murder
I just really enjoyed this series. Very funny and reminiscent of fun YA fantasy from when I was a teenager and read nothing else.
Rating 3.5, rounding down.
Story took too long to become interesting much like in the first book. It's worse in this case because this is the final book and most of the first half feels wasted to me.
I don’t understand where the whole Liesel-El situation came from but to me it seemed extremely forced and pointless. Liesel? Seriously? And I was hoping to see more of Yancy and her crew which didn’t happen.
Rest of the book is pretty good. The ending is realistic and enjoyable, not too neat but not too messy either. But it's not a good enough conclusion for me to round up to a 4.
