The end of this always breaks my heart a little. Would that we could have that much hope in this bizzare, horrible world, and we without magic.
4.5 stars
oh i wish i could give this 5 stars because i enjoyed it so so much and i didn't want it to ever end but i just can't get past the confusion i experienced from page 300 onwards and that one really weird plot line with liesel.
but this was an incredible ending to the trilogy and i don't know what to do with myself now.

i was so anxious while reading that i decided to look up spoilers and now i'm holding back tears. this was my most anticipated book of the year. i used to call a deadly education one of my favorite series. really, how did it get this messed up?

I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t confused for at least a third of this book. I had to revisit and reread several parts to (somewhat) figure things out. There were definitely some unexpected twists and revelations, but I just didn’t get the character growth and resolution for which I was looking. It was a good read, but not my favorite in the trilogy.

This was an amazing end to a great series. I loved how tense and sad it was:((
Somehow i knew they were going to get Orion back, when they went back to the scholomance i new it was gonna be just him, but never in my wildest dreams have i imagined him being a maw-mouth??????? The horrors.....
I loved the plot of every wizard sanctuary being built on other peoples infinite suffering. It is so obvious in hindsight but really brought together the whole plo t. Amazingy devestating.
Honestly this series made me cry a few times (which is the highest honor a book can get from me lol). Especially when again and again El's friends stood behind her in unvavering faith. I feel like this book was about how capitalism and rich people ruin everything, and the only untidote is love, friendship and joy. And who needs more from a book?
