"I had a crush on you too, Syl. Just in case it wasn't obvious to you then.” Her attention dropped to Sylvie's lips. "If it's not obvious to you now.”

Summary: The Campos and Machado families have been rivals as long as anyone can remember. Each family blames the other for stealing their great-grandfather’s recipes for their Cuban bakeries, and Sylvie Campos and Lauren Machado are no different. Now in their early 30s, each women is primed to take over their respective family’s bakery, which finds them thrown together often. But if they hate each other so much, why can't they stop thinking abat each other?

Review: This book is my new obsession! I will be telling absolutely everyone I know about it. it has all of the elements you need for a great rom- com: a slightly ridiculous premise, "rivals" who think just a little but too much about each other, and delicious food. The chemistry between two main characters had me giggling the whole time and I loved now seamlessly they fit together ance they did finally admit their feelings for each other. The small second chance romance element of it just made it all the more juicy!

My only complaint with this book was that it did feel like it dragged a little bit at certain points. I think it could have been 20-40 pages shorter and we wouldn't have lost much. And I wouldn’t have said no to one or two more spicy scenes!
