I could not get enough of Hunter and Emma. True love conquers more than just hurdles in this heartwarming happily ever after. Even after many years apart, Hunter's love for Emma never faltered. He just needed to complete his mission to get her back. I laughed and I cried while reading. Another must read. Great job, Claire Kingsley, great job!!

Another CK win!

No one writes the swoon and fire like Claire Kingsley. I love her Jetty Beach , and this was an excellent addition. This one is Hunter and Emma’s story. We’ve got to meet Hunter in the previous books, and this time we get to meet his Emma. This is a second chance romance, and it was perfection. Not gonna lie, I struggle with Second Chance Romance stories often because I feel like it is unbelievable when the couple has a traumatic horrible break up, and yet the second they are thrust back together the injured one suddenly forgets the hurt. It’s like a let down, and loses all credibility as plausible imo. That is not the case here. Emma definitely make Hunter work for it. In fact, he was working for it well before she even knew. He had his mission plan written up and was prepared for the long haul. They both had their demons. They were both a little broken. But they were both wonderfully perfect for each other. Their reconnecting felt organic and real, and I fell in love with both of them as they both realized their love was still there. And as always, seeing the other family members and prior books characters was great. I adore this series, and it will forever be on my reread list.

I have been a fan of this series by Claire Kingsley so when the advanced copy of this book showed up in my email, I couldn't wait to get home and read it. I was not disappointed. Hunter and Emma's story is a second chance love story. They were high school sweethearts before Hunter left for the marine's without a word to Emma. Now, ten years later Emma and Hunter meet again. These characters are emotional and vulnerable because of their past which adds to the tenderness of their love story. There are so many layers to their relationship because of what happened in the past and Claire writes their story perfectly. The rest of the family makes an appearance in this story as well, but you are going to love Clover's role. It just made me chuckle through the book.

I received an ARC from the author in hopes that I would read and review this story. This did not influence my opinion and the thoughts expressed are my own.

This one finally felt like a CK book. The bedroom talk was still super cringy, but whatever… I know she gets better at writing those scenes over time. Loved this one.

This One Was Beautiful!

He’s a little broken, she’s a lot broken. Together they help each heal.

High School sweethearts to grown up love can be tough sometimes but when it clicks it clicks tight.

This series is amazing! I have been binging this series one right after the other.
