It started out nice but about halfway through when we learn more about her friends it went downhill.
I really enjoyed the blackness of the story. I understood and identified with a lot of things in the book. The dynamic with the friends was lovely and I live for it. Domino sounds like he is sexy as hell!
Now with the dislikes. Once the second half started was just too much going on at that point. I hated the constant repeating of things we already knew. The pace at that point was all over the place. Whitney and her friends became annoying. While some parts were still nice I just couldn't finish it. I am counting it as read because I only had 50 pages left.
Unsure if I'll continue with tjr series. If I do I won't physically read then I'll audiobook.

honestly great back. this writer has outdone herself. very rarely I like both the MC and FMC. this book was funny and cute. this doesn't feel like I've read it before and the characters are different. Ms Cage I'm invested in your world

I was so excited to get to finally read the second book in this fun series, Accidents Happen! As a Black Queer Womxn, I absolutely loved the originality of the voice of the characters throughout the story. The female Black experience is beautifully written in a relatable way where any Black Girl can feel the Magic ✨ I loved the comedic relief of this fast paced read as well! It was predictable, but I think that adds to the charm and fun! Black women deserve happy stories and joy! This book truly was the lighthearted palate cleanser I needed to climb out of my book slump!
this was real cute! i mainly loved how the characters from the first book made an appearance!! but, i am really enjoying this universe!
