Ms. Cage has done it again. As a chunky tall black girl, it has been amazing reading both of the books in this series  about black women whose physical traits match mine. First it was Metice, now Domino. I love reading books about healthy black love. And this book is black as fuck. The references were everything.

I’m predicting the next book will be I accidentally hooked up with a werewolf. 😏 either way, I’m excited.

This is the second book that I’ve read from Jessica Cage (the first was I accidentally summoned a Demon Boyfriend), and it did not disappoint! This was a page turner! Attention grabber! The female characters were bad a**es! I loved everything about this book. The spice was perfect! It made me want to continue reading more paranormal romances. I honestly can’t wait for the 3rd installment!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I Accidentally Hooked Up with a Vampire by Jessica Cage is the second novel in the Accidents Happen series; it can be read as a standalone. You just find out what happened in book one at the end of this book! This book was fun and drama-filled from every point. It is chock-full of advantages and supernatural discoveries.

I loved that this book features a plus-size woman as the main love interest and that she doesn't need a man to solve her problems or save her. Whitney was so real in her reactions to finding out her whole world was upside down. Her reactions felt real and authentic to everything she was finding out. Also, Whitney's best friends were fantastic! I love it when a book has amazing and well-built side characters that are friends. Jackie and Lena were hilarious, and I loved listening to their antics! Domino was respectful and caring, and even after all of this, he never lost patience with Whitney and always gave her space to process what was happening! This book had me laughing out loud so many times, and I am obsessed with the grumpy cat! I Accidentally Hooked Up with a Vampire. It is a modern, magical world where things really do go bump in the night, and I couldn't recommend it more!
