This is a set of mystery short stories it's a reprint originally published in 1969. I read it because it had a short story from Donald Westlake. The stories varied in quality Westlake's was not but not nearly among his best. I enjoyed most of the stories and it was interesting to read different authors. Some very famous. There were a couple I did not care for and skipped part of.
The book is quite varied, some really funny some mystical, some harder crime. Definitely worth a read.
