Merciless spy starts making you complacent and then WHAM it breaks you!
As always Heather Long has the ability too make you swoon even more for the characters. From Liam's opening up to the want, no the need for Helspawn. Freddie's vulnerability is now his strength. Kellan's unwavering strength. Jas's tenderness. Doc's determination and not to mention panty melting kiss. Rome's encouragement. Milo's unwavering love for her. They all have built up, heal and encourage Emersyn.
With all these unseen things hitting them for the sides, planning to rescue her mom
and staying away from The King. Bodhi's staying around. All of these things don't prepare them for the ultimate blast...
Heather long leaves us on the most heart wrenching of cliffhangers.
Awaiting not patiently for book 8 Reckless thief...
