The first segment of the book, specifically the relationship Lisbeth has, seems very out of character for her. Initially turned me off from reading. Far too many proper nouns everywhere, hard to keep the details straight. Had some interesting bits and characters, but tended to spread the readers attention too thin.

Although it is extremely hard to keep track of all the characters in this book, it is suspenseful, dramatic, and clever. Lisbeth Salander is one of those characters you just can't get out of your head. Need a break from the heaviness in this book, but will be reading the next one in the trilogy soon!

Outside of the teen an YA novels i'm into this is one of the best second book in a trilogy i've ever read. sure it was really dark and sad but twist after twist i couldn't put it down when i had the time to read.
