The sequel felt like it took a while to take off. The twists were unexpected which was much appreciated.

Definately a good read if you liked the first one. I found it not as haunting as the first book. But with more action. Having seen the movie, I knew the big reveal about the title but it didn't lose any of it's horror or tragedy.

I feel like I shouldn’t like these books and yet I was so rapt! Can’t wait for the conclusion and thankfully it’s on the shelf, ready to go

I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about this book just didn't grab me like the first one. Although I appreciated the shifting POV it seemed like I already knew what the character was going to discover so it seemed pointless to go through it again. I liked the plot but something about the presentation just didn't wow me like the first one.

Entertaining and fast-paced, but not as good as the first one. I was put off by the over abundance of description of everyone's sex life...who cares? Didn't add to the story. Still, a decent read.

The pacing was immaculate
The ending was so good
I can’t believe it took me so long to get to this book
