Um. I did not know that this particular character had any connection to any of the Marvel universes? Maybe I should have seen this coming, since Jason Aaron started writing for him? But I certainly did not. I’m not sure how I feel about it, though I do think they did a good job writing this issue. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed his interactions with Scarlet Witch.
I read this issue and #5 back to back, so I’m not super confident that I can keep the two separate in my head. So I’m going to go with less is more for this review.

This may be a somewhat unfair review, but… I have a hard time feeling anything about the new-to-Marvel character at the heart of this issue. Probably because of connotations and impressions I picked up long before I picked up comic books, but, his centering in this issue made it difficult for me to enjoy.
