I really, really enjoyed this book. Not only was it a fast, fun read, but it was extremely funny and imaginative.

The writing style is easy to read and makes for a quick read. The characters, Osric and Tondbert were likeable characters and I attached to them immediately. The banter that they share is hilarious and I loved the wittiness of the dialogue.

The plot is intriguing and there are zombie-like creatures, dark mages, and an eccentric professor thrown into the mix. It’s a great story and I enjoyed it immensely, often laughing out loud. It’s well paced and I didn’t want to put it down, I just wanted to keep reading. It hooked me from the start and kept me hooked through to the end, leaving me wanting more.

This is a great book if you want something fun and hilarious to read.

This is not an easy book to review fairly. I enjoyed it, liked the characters and found it humorous. On that basis it deserves a much higher score. Unfortunately, I find I can't rate it highly because it is full of errors; often whole words are missing from sentences. It is possibly the worst of the self-published books I've come across in that respect.
