Well I devoured this book as well!
I ended up taking away one star for Garrett being a dummy and not fessing up to the fake profile for far too long!
The whole step siblings trope isn't my fav but I didn't mind it.
Ps Mia is a bad ass!

Never judge a book by it's cover is what I realized once again after reading Garret's book. We saw a jovial and carefree Garret in "Praise" but there's more to him. I love him.

Mia was nothing but cute all through it all!

Overall, it was a good read. Don't judge me!

Had me giggling and kicking my feet from the first chapter. Our boy Garrett really needs some help throughout the book.

i'm still debating about giving this 3.5 or 3.75. idk how to feel about them being stepsiblings, i actually didn't mind it but i wouldn't have needed it to be mentioned on every other page. it became incredibly annoying after some time, i feel like they forced it to seem like a bigger problem than it actually was, i mean who tf cares ?

Not as Good as the First

I was so completely sucked into the first book that I had high expectations for this one. Especially given how much I liked Garrett from book 1.

It's hard to put into words what exactly fell flat for me. I think it's more repeated frustration with the mental health representation, paired with how easily the big conflict was resolved. It just didn't ring true, and in a book that is riddled with the need for suspended disbelief, some things just push too far.

I loved all the Club representation and the recurring characters I've grown connected to. Totally here for Mia's job online and how well that translated to the Club. The writing is great as always, and I didn't have any issues with their relationship or how it developed.

For most readers, this one is just as good as the first. But if you need a healthy dose of reality alongside your fantasy, then you may end up as let down as I was.
