I feel like this would’ve 100% been a 4.5 if it was a step sibling romance, personally i step sibling romances make me a tad uncomfortable. However, this story was sweet and it was a little easy to look over them being step siblings. I love Garrett with all my heart, he deserves everything positive. The mental health rep is there and i respect it. The happy ending was lovely.

Garrett was the most frustrating male lead I've read in a long time. I knew this one wasn't the best of the series so I went in with low expectations but he really strove to slide under that bar.
There was also a lot of weird shame, and lack of support for sex workers I think in the text? It felt less implicitly stated and more just assumptions and judgements. But it was never challenged and that felt very weird and uncomfortable, especially considering Mia is a sex worker.
Definitely not going to be my favorite in the series.

I couldn't put it down.  This author writes taboo stories well.
