I came here for the smut, and it delivered. I have to admit the story ended up not working for me quite as well, Garrett and Mia and their love story didn’t really click for me. That being said, kudos to Sara for including mental health representation and a full bodied FMC. I was here for that. All in all I enjoyed the book well enough to probably keep going with the series in the hopes a different relationship will pull me in more the way praise did.

If nothing else I will definitely enjoy the smut.

Good short read there were some parts I thought were unrealistic. But the overall message was sweet.

TROPES: Cam Girl, step brother, s3x club

This book was recommended to me EVERYWHERE because of the cam girl element to it, and it's safe to say it definitely did not disappoint. It also covers mental health issues amongst men which is the first book I've ever read which covers this tricky matter - if anyone else has more recs like this, I need them! Roll on book 3.

Garrett was the most frustrating male lead I've read in a long time. I knew this one wasn't the best of the series so I went in with low expectations but he really strove to slide under that bar.
There was also a lot of weird shame, and lack of support for sex workers I think in the text? It felt less implicitly stated and more just assumptions and judgements. But it was never challenged and that felt very weird and uncomfortable, especially considering Mia is a sex worker.
Definitely not going to be my favorite in the series.

i couldn't put this book down and simply read it in one sitting. so far i've read book 1, 2 and 4 in the series and this one is by far my favorite.
garrett is so complex in his emotions and how he processes them. it was such a pleasure to watch him grow throughout this book.
and mia is just everything you would want in a strong female lead. she knows her worth and that nobody can own her. she's so fierce and lovely and ugh idk i just love her so much.
when they come together they have such a fun, hot and loving dynamic. it sometimes becomes too emotional for them to convey so they resort to showing it physically which was a pleasure to witness ;)

this was hot… but damn if the step sibling aspect didn’t give me the ICK

I did really love the mental health rep and body positivity we got from our two main characters, and obviously the s3x was ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
